During the first semester of 2018 the political issue in Latin America has been moved. Between quite polarized presidential elections and political problems of different governments, business, investments and the economy in general have had a slow pace, situation of which the audiovisual industry has not been exempt.

We have been talking a lot about the growth and quality of the audiovisual industry in the region since AVI LATINOAMÉRICA in recent years. And it is a pleasure to be able to present real cases in which AV professionals from Latin America stand out for carrying out innovative projects, as we do in this edition.

After living in recent years a market evolution slower than you would like, the audiovisual industry will experience an annual growth that will exceed 5% in the coming years, highlighting Mexico as one of the countries that will have the greatest development in the world AV.

In a globalized world such as the one in which we live, in which technology is readily available anywhere, generating a differential factor for end users becomes increasingly difficult. Therefore, it is essential that the audiovisual industry offers exceptional experiences.

Although during the last two years the economic situation in Latin America affected the sustained growth of the audiovisual industry in the region, the expectations for the next 4 years are positive. This is what the market study Panorama of the audio and professional video industry (Pro AV) and trend analysis 2017 (IOTA), produced by Avixa, shows.
