Latin America, a market untapped

Hi all, it is a pleasure to greet you again.

Some years ago the percentage of sales from different manufacturers of audio systems, video and lighting in Latin America was sparse, it did not exceed 1,5% of annual records of the companies, and not to mention the percentage for investment in the region; however North America and Europe were taking large numbers in all aspects.

Today the situation has changed, although North America and Europe remain important, we can say that there are other regions in the world that are gaining ground in all sectors, especially in technology such as Asia are Pacific and Latin America.

The percentages of sales in Latin America may not exceed 3% of the total sales in the world of any company, but that number reflects how is evolving the market in the region and how they can get to play on it the different companies.

Let's face it, six or seven years ago we saw all the advertising in shopping malls, airports, stadiums, universities go was made, billboards or banners, today we see it in digital signage displays. Previously the churches did not think of installing systems invisible audio or make acoustic conditioning and much less to install lights that consume less energy, but today this is a reality and we will continue to grow because Latin America is for different companies a virgin market, which It requires a lot of technology and infrastructure and that is where distributors, integrators, installers and all industry players we become part of a transformation that will bring excellent systems and technologies to the region.

We are everywhere

It is a pleasure to write this editorial knowing that you get from AVI professional response to my concerns or support my principles.

This time is very pleased to say that AVI industry is everywhere, in supermarkets, restaurants, churches, shopping centers, among others.

Latin America, little implementation of ICT

If we are honest there are several news we see around the industry Audio and Video. Digital signage installation, adjustment of theaters, stadiums, new shows, among others, are some of them, but few reports that show the progress of the industry, not technologically, but in terms of ICT coverage (Technologies information and Communication).

Before we begin, I am pleased to announce the birth of TecnoMultimedia-InfoComm, a signed partnership between InfoComm and Latin Press Inc.
