Although during the last two years the economic situation in Latin America affected the sustained growth of the audiovisual industry in the region, the expectations for the next 4 years are positive. This is what the market study Panorama of the audio and professional video industry (Pro AV) and trend analysis 2017 (IOTA), produced by Avixa, shows.

The study fixes in an 4% growth the annual growth value for the AV Pro up to 2022. Some data that reflects this study and that allow to foresee a positive panorama of the industry in the region, are the video screens, which represent the 8% of the market - around USD 5 billion in 2016 - and it is expected that between 2017 and 2022 will record an annual growth rate of 11 percent, reaching USD 9.7 billion.

On the other hand, AV installation and integration is the second largest category on the market that generated USD 8.300 million in 2016, and will grow more than 4% per year until 2022, representing USD 10 billion.

The report states that no other product category will grow as fast as lighting fixtures, but this will only represent the 4% of the investment in the industry. These teams will have a growth rate of 24 percent, and in 2022, they will generate 10% of the value of the AV industry.

Therefore, it is important to prepare for this growth, hand in hand with training, be at the forefront with the latest trends and generate innovative projects with high technical quality.
