Latin America. Sarah Joyce will become the next Global Director of AVIXA, replacing Terry Friesenborg, who will retire at the end of the year. Sarah arrives at AVIXA after almost 12 years at Electrosonic Ltd., most recently as General Manager. She and Friesenborg will jointly manage AVIXA's global operations for the rest of 2019 to ensure a smooth transition.

In her position as AVIXA Global Director, Sarah will oversee all activities of the association outside of North America, including member services, education and certification, adoption of standards, government relations and exhibitions. In addition, he will be part of the meetings of Integrated Systems Events, InfoCommAsia Pte Ltd and TecnoMultimedia InfoComm, as well as other regional operating units.
Sarah was a member of the Board of Directors of AVIXA from 2013 to 2015. He hosted the inaugural Women of InfoComm Network breakfast at Integrated Systems Europe at 2015, helping to establish the successful AVIXA Women's Council, which now supports more than 32 groups worldwide.
