Mexico. To face the exponential growth that it has had during the last 3 years, with a rhythm of sustained sales growth of two digits, the Kolo directives decided to execute a transformation plan to migrate to be a hybrid between integrators and advertising agency.

Germán Robles, CEO of Kolo, explained to AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that "we are now a kind of agency, a hybrid that has both sides, we are working with part of design of experiences, which implies to focus more on design, service issues. that sense we changed our slogan two years ago to include experience and digital ".

He added that they have evolved from being a company that sells and integrates screens to a service company that designs, installs, maintains, generates content, manages content, which is why it maintains that they are a kind of advertising agency and integrator.

This process started due to market dynamics. The market is flexible and fast changing. "We identified that the market was changing to simpler products, easier to install, that the user can do it, and that starts to diminish the opportunity for integrators, but for the service issue there are great opportunities," said the CEO of Kolo

Winner Apex Awards
One of the results achieved so far with this transformation process is having been winners, in the Gold category, of the DSE Apex Awards 2019, in the Public Spaces category with the project "Ampliación Paseo Interlomas".

In this regard, Germán Robles said that what was done in this space was to transform it into a digital space. "Together with the client, we designed the experience that was wanted for the mall, it is the fusion of architecture, design and contents, it was a project that took us 8 months of work, a great part dedicated to the design and execution of structures "

The intervention in this space involved having camera design, with interaction, self-generating content, the distribution of the 4 sections intervened with screens, two on the facade, a dome of 280 square meters installed on the ceiling facing the floor, which generated mechanical challenges and a bow.
